Group retreats in the Dominican Republic

Come Back to Each Other

A five-day group journey through ocean, movement, nature, recovery and Dominican culture—for families, teams and organizations who want to feel better and be together, without coordinating any of it.

Five days. Four nights. One experience your group will keep talking about.

More Than a Group Trip

Some trips take us somewhere new. The most meaningful ones help us feel better, and help us see each other differently.

Set against the wild beauty and welcoming community of the Dominican Republic, this five-day experience gives families, teams and organizations space to move, explore, contribute, rest and reconnect—as people first.

You might begin the day in the ocean, spend the afternoon supporting a local community initiative, hike through the rainforest to a waterfall, learn about Dominican culture, recover at the Whealth Center, share an incredible meal and finish the evening around a fire together.

Whealth coordinates the accommodations, transportation, meals, activities, local partners and details in between. Your group gets to arrive, be present and experience the real Dominican Republic together.

The Luxury of Not Having to Plan

01

We Coordinate the Details

From airport transfers and accommodations to meals, guides, activity timing and local logistics.

02

Experiences for Different Rhythms

Everyone can participate together while selected moments offer different levels of movement, adventure or rest.

03

The Real Dominican Republic

This is not an isolated resort experience. We introduce guests to the landscapes, flavors, traditions and people that make this place extraordinary.

04

Space to Reconnect

The schedule has intention without feeling over-programmed. There is room for shared experiences, individual restoration and spontaneous moments.

Recovery at the Whealth Center

Feel Better, Together

Your group isn’t limited to the retreat program. Whealth Recovery Center in Cabarete is our home base, and groups can add optional recovery sessions there—time to rest, reset and compare notes afterward.

Available at the Center

  • Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy — HBOT

A screened recovery session in a soft-sided chamber at up to 1.5 ATA.

  • PEMF

A calm session on the PEMF mat, using gentle pulsed electromagnetic fields.

  • Compression Boots

Compression Boots with a weighted blanket and NuCalm audio, included at no additional charge.

  • Whole Body Vibration

A standing session on a vibration platform, kept gentle or made more active.

  • Sports Massage

Targeted massage to support recovery, mobility and performance.

  • Lymphatic Drainage + Maderotherapy

A personalized one-hour bodywork session combining gentle lymphatic-drainage techniques with targeted maderotherapy. The session is designed to support fluid movement, ease feelings of heaviness or puffiness, and provide focused manual work based on what your body needs that day.

  • Ice Bath

    Coming soon

Coming soon: cold-immersion recovery. Our ice bath has not opened yet.

Sessions at the Center are optional, booked with Whealth and subject to availability. Every service has its own screening, consent and safety requirements—HBOT, for example, is not appropriate for everyone—and none of them is a medical treatment. What is included in your group’s package will be confirmed once pricing is set.

Designed for Real People

A meaningful group experience should not require everyone to have the same energy, interests or comfort level.

We create a shared retreat structure while allowing room for different ages, abilities and rhythms. Some people may surf while others walk the beach. Some may join every movement session while others choose bodywork, recovery time or quiet.

The goal is not perfect participation. The goal is to create experiences your group will keep talking about long after you return home.

What that looks like

  • Families, multigenerational groups, teams and organizations are welcome
  • Activities may be adapted by age and ability
  • Selected experiences are optional
  • Dietary needs are collected before arrival
  • Participants receive clear preparation and packing information
  • Transportation and activity timing are coordinated
  • Children remain under the supervision of their parent or responsible adult unless a confirmed supervised program is explicitly provided

You Bring Your Group. We Handle the Rest.

  • Curated accommodations
  • Airport and local transportation
  • Daily itinerary coordination
  • Meals and local chefs
  • Guides and trusted local partners
  • Ocean, nature and cultural experiences
  • Community-service coordination
  • Bodywork and recovery scheduling
  • Access to the Whealth Center for optional recovery sessions
  • Vendor payments and on-the-ground logistics
  • Pre-arrival communication
  • A single central point of contact throughout the experience

Travel in the Dominican Republic often involves multiple local providers, changing conditions and payments that may need to happen on the ground. Whealth acts as the central point of coordination so your group does not have to manage individual drivers, guides, chefs, practitioners or vendors.

For Groups Ready to Feel Better Together

  • Families who want more than a conventional resort vacation
  • Multigenerational families creating time together
  • Teams and companies who want their people to feel better, connected and united
  • Organizations, communities and friend groups ready to share something real
  • Groups who enjoy movement, nature, food and cultural discovery
  • Groups who want adventure balanced with restoration and recovery
  • Groups who value contribution and community connection
  • Leaders and organizers who want the details handled for them

You do not need to be highly athletic, experienced in wellness or comfortable doing every activity. Curiosity and willingness to participate are enough.

Dates are being finalized. Join the interest list or message Whealth on WhatsApp to receive the next announcement.

How long is the retreat?

Can we use the Whealth Center during the retreat?

Yes. Groups can add optional recovery sessions at Whealth Recovery Center in Cabarete, such as hyperbaric oxygen (HBOT), PEMF, compression boots and whole body vibration, as well as bodywork. Dietary information is collected in advance and shared with the relevant chefs and venues. We will confirm what can be accommodated for each group before the retreat.

Is this a medical or therapeutic retreat?

No. It is a group wellness and cultural immersion experience. The recovery sessions at the Whealth Center are optional wellness services, not medical treatment, and are subject to the normal Whealth screening, consent and practitioner requirements.

What if someone does not surf or cannot complete the waterfall activity?
