Physiotherapist, Manual Therapy & Therapeutic Massage Specialist
About Vanessa
I’m Vanessa Ayan, a qualified physiotherapist, and my work focuses on the assessment, treatment and functional recovery of each patient.
I work with people who have injuries, musculoskeletal pain, limited mobility, sports-related problems, and patients recovering after surgery. My aim is to help each person regain movement, strength and function, and gradually return to their usual activities.
Her approach
Every treatment begins with an individual assessment. I analyze mobility, strength, movement patterns, compensations and any limitations that may be present. From this assessment, I develop a treatment adapted to each patient’s needs and goals.
For me, physiotherapy is not only about treating an area that hurts. It is about assessing, understanding and accompanying the patient throughout their recovery, with a treatment adapted to their body, needs and goals.
What a session may include
Depending on the case, a physiotherapy session may include:
- Therapeutic exercises
- Muscle strengthening
- Joint mobility
- Movement re-education
- Balance and coordination
- Functional recovery
- Manual techniques and mobilizations
Manual therapy and therapeutic massage
Manual therapy holds an important place in my practice. Thanks to my training and experience as a physiotherapist, I have also developed a particular specialization in therapeutic massage. My knowledge of anatomy, muscles and tissues allows me to work precisely and adapt the treatment to what each body needs.
I use techniques such as deep tissue work, trigger points, mobilizations and stretching, always as part of an individualized approach and, when appropriate, integrated within physiotherapy treatment.
Who she works with
