What happens during your session?

What it is

Whole Body Vibration uses a platform that produces rapid, controlled vibrations beneath your feet. Your muscles respond with repeated reflexive contractions as your body works to remain stable.

How it works

The experience may look simple, but your muscles and balance system are continually responding to the platform. The session can be kept gentle or made more active by changing your stance or adding guided movements.

Whole Body Vibration and lymphatic flow

Your lymphatic system does not have a central pump like your heart. It relies partly on breathing, muscular contraction and physical movement.

Before stepping onto the platform, we may guide you through a brief version of the Big 6 lymphatic-opening routine popularized by Dr. Perry Nickelston. This uses gentle touch and movement around key lymphatic regions before vibration begins.

The goal is to support normal lymphatic movement—not to diagnose or treat lymphedema or claim that vibration “detoxes” the body.

Why people choose it

Whole Body Vibration may support:

  • Muscle activation
  • Balance and coordination
  • Lower-body circulation
  • Mobility and warm-up
  • Recovery after periods of sitting or inactivity
  • A feeling of looseness and readiness to move
  • Lymphatic movement when combined with breathing and gentle movement

It is not a substitute for strength training, rehabilitation or cardiovascular exercise, but it can complement an active lifestyle.

What happens during your session?

A standard session lasts approximately 30 minutes. Day Pass visitors receive a focused 10-minute experience.

You stand on the platform with your knees softly bent. Depending on your comfort and goals, you may:

  • Hold a steady position
  • Shift your weight
  • Perform gentle squats or calf raises
  • Work on balance
  • Follow simple guided movements

You will feel the vibration immediately. Your muscles may feel active, warm or slightly challenged, even during a short session.

Who it may suit

Whole Body Vibration may suit people who:

  • Want a quick warm-up before activity
  • Feel stiff after sitting or travelling
  • Want to activate their legs without a full workout
  • Are working on balance and body awareness
  • Want support after leg day
  • Want to combine movement with a recovery routine

What it pairs well with

  • PEMF, followed by vibration, for preparation and activation
  • Compression Boots after vibration for a quieter finish
  • The Recharge Package, which combines all three
